March 31 doctor's visit

I had a doctor’s visit today. I have gained two pounds!! Everything seems to be normal and healthy. The doctor used a Doppler to listen to Baby D's heartbeat. He/she sounded like a galloping horse!! 154 beats per minute.

The doctor said there were studies showing how playing classical music (i.e., prenatal education) to your unborn child helps them intellectually. However, she also stated that it is just as likely that advanced development is not related to music, but the fact that parents who play classical music are possible passing more "smart genes" on. (as Robert says, we ‘don’t got no’ classical music and only a few smart genes, so we’ll see about the Babyplus). No change in the due date.
